My Music Video

I re-wrote the lyrics to the song "Someone Like You" by Adele so the song would teach the Spanish grammar concept of stem-changing verbs. Then I enlisted the help of the media/tv teacher at school to record a music video of me singing the song in the style of Adele's video. I think it is FANTASTIC and I am planning on making some more videos that teach grammar concepts.

At the Mall

A couple of weeks ago I went to Target before the mall opened on a Sunday. I decided to venture into the unopened mall to see if there were many kids in the play area. Normally, it is too croweded and dangerous, in my opinion, for Lilly but, there weren't many kids that day so I felt comfortable with letting her play. She had a blast.

Valentine's Day Dinner

We went to a fancy restaurant for an early Valentine's day dinner. It was good and we had a really nice time.

Disappointing Snow

It snowed. I got excited. I thought I would get a snow day. I didn't. I was disappointed.

Lilly Loves her Baby Doll

Lilly Likes Libros

Libro is the word for book in Spanish. Lilly likes them. She sits with a book and acts like she's reading by making sounds and turning the pages. It's really cute.

Lilly and My Phone

Lilly had my phone which was fine because it was locked. Next thing I know I hear a camera click sound and I realize she unlocked the phone, opened my camera app and took this photo. She proceeded to cry when I subsequently reclaimed my phone.
