I got Derek a juice spiking kit for Derek at Christmas and he finally got around to using it. The first batch was cranberry pomegranate juice and was delicious. Then we decided to use a juice we affectionately call "rape juice" because it tastes so good "it's like a violent sexual crime in your mouth". Anyway, it is finally done and is better than any sparkling wine I've ever had and only cost about 3 bucks for a whole jug. Yum!

Christmas gifts?? I used to make beer, ale and mead with a boyfriend. I love mead. Elderberry, mulberry and muscadine wine is great too. It is just about muscadine season I think. What about a trip through the Ozarks for some of that Arkansas Black Apple juice. To die for!
